    Doug told me he was dropping the price of the van I was interested in, which had sat unsold for many months. I arranged for a test drive the next day but he called asking to delay my trip, which I agreed to when he promised to give me first rights to buy the van. With that guarantee, I drove 7 hrs RT and spent 4 hrs on-site deciding whether I could trust both Doug and the van. We negotiated just 2 terms: He told me his lowest price and I asked for the van to be delivered. He then agreed to deliver the van but not until next week (after Christmas). With that delay, I told him I’d let him know my decision tomorrow and made the long drive home (no, he never asked for a deposit). That evening I messaged asking if he could have the rear brakes inspected, which had been missed in the first report. Doug replied “no problem, will do”. For me, that meant that Doug was reliable, so the next day I excitedly told him I’d made my decision - I’m buying the van! And began making plans accordingly. Unfortunately, that’s when everything seemed to change on his part. For the next week, I called, texted, and messaged Doug to arrange payment and delivery of my van but he wouldn’t even respond. Days later he finally sent a one-line FB msg blaming ME for “squeezing” him and telling me that he won’t honor his own price or the deal we had made. This business is not ethical, the owner is not honest. BELIEVE the bad reviews, not the owner’s excuses blaming the buyer.
