    We had our home repainted by Wow Painting in August 2022 with the ****** ****** ********** branch. Since then, we've had paint chipping, old stains emerging over the paint, prior nail pops that were fixed but reappearing again, etc (attached are some pics as examples). Our contract included a 2-year warranty that expires in Aug ****. The ** branch is no longer in effect so working with Wow Painting Customer Experience Team on how to use the 2-year warranty has been painful. They were helpful six months ago with some of the original issues, but they are now claiming that these items (e.g., addressing same nail pops that the painters fixed) don't fall under warranty despite the original owner of the local branch reassuring us during the sale that these are covered. I'd like Wow to uphold the customer service agreements provided by the local branch and the company's 2-year warranty despite the fact that the local branch is no longer in effect.

    I would NEVER recommend them. I called and made an appointment for an estimate to have my apartment balcony painted, including railing and window trim etc. Nobody asked me for any measurements or what work needed to be done. The morning of the appointment I got a text message at 8am on a Saturday from Jack confirming the appointment at noon and even offering to bring me a coffee. I replied back with parking instructions and again I received a confirmation. Then 15 minutes before the appointment Jack calls me to tell me he is not coming after all because as it turns out they don't do condo balconies. He said it would be morally wrong to waste my time giving me an estimate! Well, my time and day was already ruined as I rescheduled everything to make sure I would be home. So unprofessional and inconsiderate. When I called the company back to let them know what had happened, the receptionist said it wasn't her fault. She says there are so many franchises that she doesn't know who does what. Unbelievable. Worst company ever.

    In response to your BBB review please note. That you spoke directly with me. I returned our call and introduced myself as the Manager of Corporate Customer Experience. Your concern was that you were under the impression that we had sold your number to another company. I explained that the estimator Jack did contact you but then he realized that by the scope of the job you would benefit from a subcontractor of ours. This decision was made to not only provide you with lower costs but enable you to have the work done sooner since the schedule of the Vancouver franchise was tight. He sent a text to you regarding the use of another painting company. Note that when you called us you reached the National Sales Center, not the local office, and not a receptionist as you stated. It is our standard operating procedure that our sales agents do not give estimates over the phone. They will schedule an estimate for you but do not give ballpark estimates over the phone. I called you back and clarified the fact that you reached the sales center and not an in-house receptionist. Our sales agents are trained to avoid any language as you noted and again in our discussion I clarified that with you. The estimator only referred you to a local business partner for quicker service.     This conversation never took place. I wrote this complaint before we spoke. When we spoke you had no knowledge of what had happened or which employee of yours I had dealt with. After I explained the situation to you, you told me over the phone that it didn’t happen because you would never refer work to another company nor would you ever pass on a client’s information to another company. You implied I was not telling the truth until I emailed you the text messages to prove to you I was right. That’s how you found out which one of your employees had texted me. I guess you weren’t counting on the fact that you were on speakerphone and I recorded the entire conversation. It is a breach of my privacy for you to pass my personal information on to other people. I was going to let this go and just chalk it up to really bad service *** ***** ****** ***** *** ** * ****** ****** I’m going to take this a step further. Before ***** in writing, you should always consider the fact that somebody might be recording you!
