I entered into a Log Home Trasportation Contract with Hughes Contracting in Dec of 2022.His contract had pictures of Trailers and Tractors ********* **** **** ***** and Bins and a flat deck trailer.The equipment he showed up with was different. He showed up 3 days late, he the showed up with a Semi and a Trailer that needed repairs and that cost us 3 more days.I had other Crews lined up in Cresyon on a site and those guys were paid and he never showed up on time ever.He over charged for his hours according to his contract - Provable ...His contract stated he would need money down and then deliver my **** Sq Ft Cedar Long home in sections and true up the account once we accepted the material in site with no damage from his setvices, then set up the home for completion.He has moved 2 load to his yard in ********* and is now threatening me with legal action.LV ************ ILL SEND ALL THE DOCUMENTS ONCE I TALK TO A REPRESENTATIVE THANKSCustomer response

This was a trucking company that I had to hire after to do his job, and this bill is outstanding and im sick about this.
I had a $35,000 to 40k budget and he cost me at least $15k in extra costs.

Our contract clearly states an hourly rate, as there was no way of knowing how long it would take to move a log home in the middle of winter. Every time we tried speaking with ****************** on the phone he either did not pick up or was travelling and the call was dropped. We have never threatened ****************** with legal action, in fact it was he that initially included his lawyer on an email thread. We would like to settle this with ****************** but he has refused to respond to our email requests.
