We purchased a millwork package worth almost $100,000 from the company. The installation was terrible. The company acknowledged that the installation was poor and has remedied some of the simpler deficiencies. However, there are many more complicated and expensive deficiencies that the company is refusing to fix. We have tried to negotiate with the company and our builder has tried to mediate the situation. They told our builder that we will have to *** them to get the remaining deficiencies fixed which we do not want to do because we would have to also *** the builder who held the contract. Our builder could face serious financial consequences out of their control if we go to court.Customer response

I mistakenly sent this attachment by email. My apologies.
For clarification, the floating shelves in two bathrooms need to be installed properly, there is damage to a baseboard and two walls in our laundry room from straightening cabinets that needed to be straightened. There is also a bottom shelf in our china cabinet that needs to be replaced because the installer screwed right through it, and some edge-banding that needs to be changed from woodgrain to black.
There are other things wrong with the cabinetry (the hardware is not what we thought we were getting) but we are just trying to focus on the big things. We tried to work with Westwood to get the remaining things addressed, but the general manager told our builder that we will have to sue **********
Finally, West wood owes us $1522.50 for cleaning three vehicles and a scooter that were in the garage when the installer cut MDF inside (doors closed) with a table saw and no means to collect the dust. Our builder paid for a post-construction cleaning company/restoration company remove the sawdust from our garage. The general manager approved the clean up and has reimbursed our builder, but not us.
