Isabey was to complete our unfinished basement. The project was started in July, 2022 and we were told that it would be completed by end of September, 2022. That date then got pushed to end of December, 2022 and the majority of the project did get done, but not until well into 2023 (April/May 2023), but we were still waiting for some parts of the blinds as well as other little items to be fixed. I believe the last blind was installed in late August , early September, 2023, but the errors with the blinds and the small fixes still have not been addressed. We still have concerns like cracks at bottom of 2 of the basement doors, blinds not completed properly, patch on wall not fixed properly. Between April 26, 2022 and April 13, 2023, we have paid them $225,745.90 and have been trying to get these issue’s completed. They sent us a final statement in June, 2023 stating that we owe them another $6,397.80 We did sign a contract in June, 2022 stating that they could complete the job for $250,000.00 with many high end items (a glass enclosure for wine, glass door going into theatre room area, expensive tile in bathroom, motorized blinds throughout, etc). After the project started, we scaled back and many of the high end finishes were removed in an effort to reduce the cost in line with our revised budget of $180,000. Management of the project has changed several time, without notification, no follow up, no status updates, no budget, which we asked for several times. Promises to complete the job have never been fulfilled. We’ve had to proactively and repeatedly ask for updates and to date, nothing has been done. We are at a standstill and feel compensation is due. We have given them many opportunities to make this right and have gotten nowhere. We need your help.Customer response
