In September 2021, We engaged Crema Communications dba Craft and Compass (Mica K*****, Owner/Opeator) as our Brand Marketer for our small business cafe. We signed a contract detailing the work to be performed, which would include new website design, logo design, e-commerce integration and social media. We paid him $2,100 of the total project cost deposit on Nov 1, 2021 (Invoice 988). We engaged and had meetings with Mica to plan the development of the logos and website, although nothing was sent to us in regard to the above, regardless of our numerous attempts at communication via text, phone and email. We had final communication from him on June 21, 2022 - where he said he would get back to us the following week on our webpage which was now 6 months late. We have not heard from him since, despite our attempts. We did send a formal Letter of Demand requesting the return of our deposit by October 15, 2022. If we did not receive the money by that date, we confirmed that we would file a formal complaint with the BBB. This is that formal complaint.
