      I approached Cole W**** early spring 2023 to assist us in regular maintenance on our property. The yard work was too much & we wanted a regular schedule which our current landscaper could not provide this season. We met & agreed to some preliminary work – deco rocks, tree removal etc. That job was completed & paid in full. We met to sign an agreement for monthly maintenance. We made an agreement that included the completion of 2023 including fall & maintenance for the 2024 season. He had not mentioned a 2 year contract when we first met, I questioned the cost. He told me it was only an estimate & they would go by how long each clean up took. I signed the paper turned over a cheque; prepaid. He set a schedule of maintenance dates then changed all those. He promised some other chores in the yard for free, none were done. Came once in July, took pictures, someone with a blower; I checked the work after; nothing was actually done; I took pictures. Claimed to be here 3 hrs; he was not. Promised to come back August 10th to redo July work; he did not & denied it, I have the email. Started with excuses, so no clean up July. August the worst. We asked for full refund, that started pages of rambling emails verging on harassment. I saw only one truck & one employee. Last straw, when he did not come for the August date & promised to come that Saturday then Monday his day off & he had a crew in place. Monday morning started okay then it was not an enough notice; or he could only come later because he had to work out schedules. He suggested we meet to negotiate. At that point we asked for a full refund. Because I no longer trusted him & had enough of his lies, my husband was to meet with him here. He did not show but sent an email saying they had come a long way, knocked, rang the bell and no one answered. It was not true, no one showed up at our door; I checked the front door doorbell camera...why couldn't he just do the work instead of all the game playing?

      I spoke to Cole W**** of Weber's Landscaping and Maintenance in early March 2022 and hired him and his company to complete some landscaping clean-up work and planting at my Kelowna property. He said I was getting a $13,000.00 value for $4,800.00 if I paid up front, which I did. After being paid, he showed up twice for a few hours, and then not at all - until I made him return after multiple attempts to contact him (he normally will not answer his phone, and his voicemail is full). Even then, he didn't complete the work. He always has excuses: the roads, the weather, he is out of town or in a meeting etc., and the most recent was that his girlfriend contracted COVID and he was being tested. He shows up with different people to work on the project, some who look more qualfied than the others. I asked for my money back, but he always promises to finish, but never does. The last promise was to have it all wrapped up by March 22, 2022. There is no presently-scheduled wrap up date. He claims to have purchased plants to plant at my property for $1,800.00 yet the plants are few, and small, and sickly looking, and most remain unplanted. He offers a partial refund, but does not send it, and still wants any refund to be returned to him so he can finish the work. He overestimates the amount of work and value of work completed to date to reduce the possible refund, and refuses any substantial refund.
