Dear Sir, I send you the correspondence email and the payment receipt to Acadia college for the disputed transaction. There are no such terms and conditions at the payment page or on their website stating that this $250 tuition deposit fee was non-refundable. There is no such mention on the payment receipt which is attached for your reference as Exhibit 1. Further, I attach the application form as Exhibit 2 that the student filled in and I filed it with the college. There is no mention of a non-refundable fee in the terms and conditions. I also attached Exhibit 3, the college's policy document where there is no mention of advanced tuition fee deposit or its refund policies. If the student was not approved for the program to study at the college, there is no point in withholding the fee.
