September 14, 2023 was our daughter wedding and reception held at the Newlands Golf & Country Club. We were overcharge in the amount of $186 plus Tax. This is due to the extra order of 6 dozens of spring spring roll were not approved or confirmed from our daughter and son in law who has an authority to approved the order. The **** PST and the Liquor Tax in the invoice were not clear enough to understand, so we requested a detail breakdown but until now there is no response.Review from Joyanne E

Ruined mothers day ! This incident happened@ Newlands Golf & Country Club Langely BC here is my **** review and my email complaint to the restaurant. I felt compelled to write a review or it would be better defined as a concern as to how this place is managed. On May 8 2022 Mother's day, our family ** ** ** ******* * ********* * ******* *** ** ******* made a reservation to celebrate the occasion at this FAMILY ORIENTED VENUE . Mid dinner my ****** ***** felt fuzzy and started to cry,we did everything we could to comfort her. Going outside for a walk is not an option as it is cold and we wanted to spend more time with each other. Then the manager came to our table and told us to keep it down (with the annoyed expression in his face). He then asked us if we can take the baby out for a walk. **** *** ******* ****** ****** **** ** **** * **** ******* *** ** ** ** *** *** ******* ******* *** ** ** ****** As we are leaving the manger rudely said to my ****** ** *** "you are only supposed to stay for 2hrs max and you have to settle your bill" At this time my ******* ** *** was already at the counter paying for our bill and it has not even been 2hrs yet. We felt ************* and embarrassed on how we were treated. We are very disappointed and ********* on how the manager unprofessionally handled the situation. People like them makes it difficult for mothers **** ** with young children to enjoy life without the fear of being ************* and embarrassed.
