      On February 5, 2024 I purchased a 5-pair weight set and weight rack from Hajex Fitness. I received a defective weight rack and never received the fifth pair of weights. Hajex essentially gave me the run around for almost two months about the missing weights and reimbursement for the defective rack. First, they indicated the package was delayed but they were "escalating" the situation with the carrier. Then they said the package had in fact been delivered to me. Then they agreed it had not been delivered and said they were asking the carrier to "investigate" it and it would take 8-10 business days to get a resolution. After 10 business days, I heard nothing from Hajex, so I once again reached out, and was told they were attempting to send me a replacement for the missing package but they were awaiting "approval." When I again waited 10 days and reached out once more, I was told they were in fact still awaiting the conclusion of the carrier's investigation. At this point, 90 days had elapsed since I first placed the order. When I sought reimbursement from Hajex, they told me they could reimburse me but only if I would pay an ADDITIONAL amount to cover the shipping (for the product I never received and for which I had already paid shipping). When I declined to pay the extra shipping charge (as that is illegal) they implied legal action against me and told me to speak only with their attorney going forward. There are MANY online reviews with a similar fact pattern - Hajex gives the run around, never produces the goods, fabricates policies to avoid refunding, then scares people into silence and doing nothing by threatening legal action when buyers attempt to assert their rights.

      The resolutions I seek are: 
      (a) refund for the product I never received including the international shipping fees I paid; 
      (b) refund for the defective product I received, including international shipping fees I paid; 
      (c) "other" resolution: a request that the company withdraw the following statement and acknowledge that I do not legally owe them anything. I believe their assertion that I owe this debt is done with the intention of intimidating me and constitutes an unfair and/or deceptive practice under Washington State law (where I reside) and the United States FTC Act:
      "The shipping cost of 21.90$ USD is pending on client end. The client account will remain delinquent and no future orders will be processed until the balance 21.90$ USD is cleared covering duties, taxes and other fees initially paid by HAJEX as an exception by going beyond their 20% shipping fee policy."; and
      (d) apology from the business.

      *please note that since I originally submitted this complaint, Hajex has issued a partial refund to my credit card (although I dispute the amount as insufficient).

      I placed an order for bumper plates on November 26, 2023. This was a Christmas gift. I was told I would receive the weights by Dec 8/23. When I didnt receive them I called and was told they were held up at Customs and would be sent shortly. I’ve called a total of 6 times now and still get the run around and excuses. It’s now March 11th, 2024!!!!! Horrible customer service and I’m not sure if I’ll ever receive the product. Run….dont walk away from this company

      Back in May of 2023, I received a shipment of dumbbells from Hajex. The shipment was sent through ******/****** express. Upon receipt, I noted that there were damaged Dumbbells and alerted Hajex immediately. They required me to complete a claim with ****** with which I promptly did. According to ****** following a BBB complaint I recently filed, a settlement was sent to HAJEX back on June 27, 2023. So, it would appear they held up their end. For the past several months, I have been told by Hajex that they have been awaiting ******'s replies and I have gotten nowhere.
