I went to Nissan penticton test drove a new kicks,bought the car. drove home and came back next day for extras. it stayed the weekend picked it up Monday. drove off the lot got home the engine light went on. dash lights went on drove back it began losing power pulled into service they took the car. Ran diagnostics, test drives car was defective. They replaced parts and told me it worked I went and picked it up drove it on the 3 or 4th day of driving to work, then engine light went on. I drove to the dealership and they tried to talk me into exchanging for another new one and told them to wait until I spoke with my husband. i was so upset, and regret my decision, i overreacted and closed my bank acc, i went to get my plates when I walked through the door to service, there was my car plates still on. I asked for my plates from the service and then ***** swooped in and tried to take me out of service to his office. I refused, he took a step towards me, I backed up, I said listen I dont want to hear anything from you other than here is my cheque and you are released from the the contract, well he said nope cant do that. I said well we have nothing else to talk about. He still had my plates on my car in front of me. Again I asked for my plates again he took a step towards me, again I said, give me plates and stop coming towards me. I said I will wait outside for my plates. I turned to go and he said you need to stop and listen to me, I said no I dont, unless your going to tell me here is your ***** dollar cheque and your released from the contract. He said again nope, and dont make me chase you. I said good then dont , get me my license plates now. We have nothing further to discuss. He then told to listen to him and rethink this. I said no you need to go back in there and get me my plates. He released my plates.i cant get out of this deal. i will take the new car. this will ruin me please help me resolve this please i am ruined please call and help meBusiness response

From the start we have tried to come to a resolution with this client.
********************* was open to exchanging vehicles at first.
As a Nissan Franchisee there is only so much we can do. We tried to inform ********************* or her options and were met with hostility.

Again, we act as selling agent and servicing agent for Nissan ****** and are a Franchise Dealer .
We are committed to assisting you in resolving ***********.We have also offered you an exchange to an equivalent unit at no cost. Same to same. This option is time sensitive as it is a special authorization from Nissan ******.
Please let us know what you want to do as we will not accept you dropping off the vehicle two weeks after purchase. There is no cancellation option after you purchase a vehicle and take possession.
You are legally contractually/committed to the vehicle you dropped off. ***************** 2024 Nissan Kicks SR. I recommend you do get legal advice. Our corporate lawyer is *********************** in *******.
You also should let Nissan ****** Finance(separate from us)know what you are doing as we charge $25 dollars a day storage to have your vehicle on our lot.

I am rejecting this response because:
i am not paying storage fees, they can cancel those, i want contactless delivery. it can be towed, or driven with dealer plates to my home, keys left in mailbox, docusign for new vehicle, i want no contact with those the people at the dealership. worst experience of my life. i won't go to that dealership ever again and i don't ever want to see the managers from there, least of all at my door.

i won't go to the dealership, i don't wish to have interaction with the managers there. they can drop the car off in my driveway, keys in mailbox, docusign form please. i don't want the managers at my door, anyone else is fine. i won't go to that dealership ever again and i won't pay any storage fees. they can forego those. and drop the lemon's replacement off in my driveway. keys in the mailbox, docusign form .

On Sept 22 I completed an auto purchase with Penticton Nissan. At the time of the purchase their head of finance, ****** gave me information on their extended warranty. Unwilling to lock in without confirming with my husband I asked if I can fill it out & notify them in a day or two. She said yes - to notify her by END OF THE ****** Upon driving home my new to me used vehicle we discovered a loud noise from the undercarriage. My husband called & brought the *** back the following morning upon instructions from the general manager ***********************. The issue was repaired and ********** along with my sales rep ***** communicated through text to confirm it was completed. During the completion of the exchange/confirmation of the repair I asked him to notify ***** that we would NOT pursue the warranty. He responded to say sorry for the ************ concluded our business. One month to the day of purchase the dealer put through the initial charge for the warranty & then a few short days later the insurance company put through another charge for the 1st monthly payment. I left a detailed message on the dealership reception asking ***** or someone to call me to get this issue rectified, never received any call.I called the warranty holder & while they were quite willing to cancel the policy, because of the charges being put through 30 days post sale there was no option for refund. On Nov 2 I spoke to ***** after the warranty company and he claimed to have zero knowledge of the exchange. I forwarded him screenshots of our exchange. He responded he would look into this. Today is November 21 & I have received zero further communications.Business response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution to the warranty issue is satisfactory to me.
The request to bring my car back into their dealership is not feasible as I am working and cannot lose a days wage, but the radio issue was assessed at a **** dealer & I was given a quote of $868 pre tax to repair the failed ACM/modules.
if ***** can reach out again perhaps we can come to an amenable solution.
