I highly recommend Amy's services! She is knowledgeable, detailed, listens, and communicated clearly. She completed the inspection and provided results within two days of phoning. This is the third time I've relied on the timely service and expertise of Amy from Assured Asbestos. If you're renovating an old home in the qathet/Powell River/upper Sunshine Coast area, keep her number handy as you're very likely going to run into some suspicious materials somewhere along the way. This time, I'm doing a kitchen renovation and some initial demo revealed some 1950's or 1960's tiles and brick and mortar. Third time lucky on the asbestos front and the samples taken yielded no contaminants so I can safely finish up the demo without the removal services of Assured Asbestos. The whole process took only 2 business days, including getting the samples over to Comox for the testing. Do yourself a favour and don't risk your or your contractors' health and give her a call.

Amy was recommended to me via a contact on Facebook and I'm so glad they did. She responded to my inquiry very quickly and scheduled an appointment for only a few days in the future. She was punctual, professional, and friendly. She went about her work very quickly and gave me realistic information about what to expect. She also provided information above and beyond what my current project was, to help me plan out for the future. The results for the asbestos sample she took came back less than two days later. Amy and team were here in April to remove the vermiculite from my attic in Townsite. I have been thrilled with her service from start to finish. From reaching out to her last year to get a rough idea of pricing before I even put an offer on the house, to testing and quoting the job through to set up, actual removal and then more testing and cleanup, I couldn't be more pleased. GREAT communication from start to finish (email, text, phone). Everyone on the crew was super friendly and professional and they took great care of my home. This team of people work hard and know what they are doing! Their work is exemplary, the containment area they erected was beyond amazing, the removal of debris went smoothly and they left the place spotless. Amy, one of the owners, kept us informed of daily progress and coordinated beautifully with the other trades people on the job. We have used Assured Asbestos Abatement on three occasions and their professional staff and prompt service impresses us every time. The latest time we had an unexpected cut into suspect drywall and company boss, Amy, came right away to set up aerosol testing and rushed the results so that we could open for business again as soon as possible. Amy is caring, considerate and confident.
