***************************, the owner of To The Peak Roofing wrote on his Paid Invoice ******, dated June 14, 2022, that he provided a "10 Year Workmanship Guarantee" when I paid him $7,476.00 on June 15, 2022 by Bank Draft **** **** 4 for a roofing job done by his company, To The Peak Roofing from June 10 to June 14, 2022. Unfortuanately, *************************** has refused to honour his 10 year workmanship guarantee for damage and defective workmanship done by his contracted employee *****, since I repeatedly reported it during the summer of 2022. *************************** has failed to compensate me for damage to my natural gas fireplace chimney or the damage to my new 4-inch roof vent for my bathroom fan. I had to make two trips into my attic to do the repair work and locate the roof installation hole for the vent that roofer ***** could not find. I also had to repair the connection of the vent line from the bathroom vent fan to the roof vent that was damaged by To The Peak Roofing. I should receive financial compensation for this damage of $500. In addition, I had to clean my gutters that To The Peak Roofing left full of shingle grit, shingle trimmings, shingle nails and staples. Shingle nails and staples were also left on my driveway and yard that I had to clean up. Roofer ***** was only going to install 5 roof vents when I told him there were six openings for roof vents, one of which he had covered up and had to go searching for it. *************************** promised to replace the cracked shingle that ***** installed in the roofing over the covered porch. He never did repair this cracked shingle or cover the exposed shingle nails that roofer ***** installed, as he stated he would. Also, for some reason the shingles on the roof ridge are sagging in places and should be inspected for defective workmanship.*************************** never did attend the active worksite at ********************** nor did he inspect the completed roofing job. But he did come for his money on June 15, 2022.
