      ********* Stressful, unreliable & impossible to reach for damages/misplaced shipments. Moved from Toronto to Calgary from an apartment & unfortunately chose IPM. The quotation & sales department were quick. Received a basic quote of $500 (for the first 500lbs) & the date was finalized. A truck from their first-mile logistics company tie-up did arrive on the said date. Loading went well as we had most our stuff packed & ready in the loading area before they arrived. No proper communication (forget friendly) from the loading personnel (we didn't even expect). Anyway, after loading on 8th July '22 we were waiting for our estimated delivery aroud 20th July. We were contacted by their last-mile delivery company tie-up for confirming delivery time on 22nd July & informed us the amount due on delivery. To our surprise, they quoted that they scaled the weight of our items to be 2500+ lbs & the charge due on delivery was about $2800 (minus $100 advance). This was bizzare knowing we are moving from a small apartment & I demanded a rescale. I had to make multiple calls to IPM as this company told me that they only handle delivery for IPM. After a few calls I was able to reach the correct person from IPM & was told that they will rescale for me with an additional fee. The next day I'm told that their guys did the "wrong" scaling of the load and it turns out to be only $2,000 and the stuff only weighed 1500 lbs. Tried to pull a scheme on their customers, if it works, they earn big. On forums/groups people have been highlighting these companies cheating customers like this. Got our load delivered on 22nd July '22 from yet another delivery tie-up. Found out there was re-loading of our stuff into at a warehouse during the process. Which is understandable (I have worked in logistics). 2 items are damaged and 4 are missing, that we know of. We are unable to find out if anything else is lost. Got to their Claims team somehow. Still waiting for ANY update 19days after delivery!

      We recently moved our daughter from Toronto to Vancouver. ** *** ***** *** ***** ******** ******* *** ***** ******** ******** **** *************** ****** *** ******* ********* ******* *** **** **** ****** *** ******* ******** * ********* *** *** **** If you enjoy a very late pickup (Interprovincial Moving and Storage Services), if you enjoy having ‘no idea’ as to where your belongings are and/or what date they may be delivered, these 2 Moving Companies are for you. As a matter of fact they were so awful that on 2 occasions when we asked either “the whereabouts of her belongings” or “what date they may be delivered”, they (**** Line) hung up on us. When her contents were finally delivered to Vancouver (late), we made an agreement for delivery to her residence on April 7. We left for Vancouver from Calgary (where my wife and I live) on April 5th, we got half way to Vancouver, spoke to **** Line and they said they “made no such agreement” and that they “would deliver the load the following Tuesday the 12th”- on their timeline, with absolutely no care whatsoever that we’d already driven 6 hours. We offered to rent our own truck in Vancouver to pick up the items and when we pressed for their location, they hung up, in essence holding her belongings *********. ** *** **** ***** ***** ******* ************* **** **** ** *** ****  At pickup the load was estimated (by Interprovincial) at 2,000 lbs. At delivery, **** Line said the load was 3,690 lbs. Again, they held her belongings ********* until she e-transferred the money. We painstakingly weighed every box, (every item) on a very accurate digital scale and it came in at 1,989 lbs. (very close to the estimate). At $0.60 cents/lb. that’s roughly an over-charge of $1,020. If you enjoy finding that the vast majority of the (brand new at pickup) boxes were either open, or punctured, these moving companies are for you.       Quoted 850 , then added a 300 dollar "stair charge" when loading, now when its being delivered , they're wanting 2750 . Wow ! And no idea yet what kind of condition the stuff will be in. Im disgusted

      Horrible horrible service, most of my boxes were damaged, I packed everything with multi layers of protection otherwise my stuff would have been destroyed the way they handled boxes. They moved my loading and unloading date a few times, it took them one month to move my stuff. They lost my box of brand new coffee table that cost $500 and I had to follow up for over 4 months with no response back!!! I sent them the pictures of the box to prove the value. They admit the lost as it was reported by the driver but are not compensating me back. They have a terrible customer service. Save yourself the headache of dealing with this nightmare!

      Shipment took double the quoted time and communication was HORRIBLE.
