      I received damge to my back passages side wheel well/door panel while using Washworld at the ******** * ** * ******** location on the morning of March 7, 2022. I emailed the company with pictures of damage that evening. Never got an email response. On March 15 evening I received a call from Vince to fins out more info. I returned his call via my mobile and left voice messages on March 16, 17 & 24. I also called via land line... if I recall correctly on March 22 and 30th. I have not heard from Vince as of yet.

      I have discussed this concern with Vince D** , Washworlds Business Manager after looking at the surveillance footage. 

      Vince has mentioned that he made himself available to meet the customer and explain his position. He has ,to date,  not received a call to meet and do so. Washworlds Car Wash did not damage the car as claimed. It is rather clear that the said damage occurred elsewhere and became evident after the vehicle got cleaned. 

      We therefore will not accept any liability whatsoever.

      I am rejecting this response. I am pleased this company responded albeit at the final hour. Their response is not true. Vince D** neve spoke in person nor returned my email. At no time was he available or even offered to meet me. As previously stated I returned his voice-mail 5 times to no avail. I am grateful surveillance footage was reviewed. Are screen shots available for BBB and myself to review? I'd like to see my rear passenger door panel going into the wash. At one point the oil change business attached -***** **** was owned/affiliated by same company. If they are still... I had fluid top up moments prior to the wash and they too would have surveillance footage. I am reasonable person, ** ********** ******** ** **** ********** ** *** ******** ******* ********. * ********* ******* ** ******** *********** Their lack of engagement with me, the customer, is unacceptable. I did not see the damage when I removed groceries after parking my car for the day the afternoon prior. I would be very surprised if they were able provide footage showing this damage prior to wash because as, I beleive, I stated previously my car shook in ways it previously not experience on same wash mode. Highly unlikely the damage was previously there if they can prove it was i'll apologize and walk away! Thank you for your assistance ****** *****

      Hi,

      We maintain that purported damage did not occur at our facility. I have seen the pictures and the Video footage of the vehicle getting a wash and nothing whatsoever looks out of the ordinary. The noise you heard was the Tire Brush touching the wheel.

       

      Its rather apparent that this vehicle touched or scrapped against an object that left a lighter paint residue. A body shop technician or an **** adjuster would be able to ascertain the source of this damage.

       

      If you so wish , we can show you the video at our premises at our Head Office in Surrey. We can meet you at or near our Richmond facility to discuss this as well.

      Better Business Bureau:
      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********. I would like review the footage at 9am on May 16 or May 30th. At the Richmond location, Alternatively it could be emailed to me. It appears the request to additionally review the ***** **** footage did not happen... I suggest this company hold on to the footage regardless as I will now pursue with **** and will reference this claim. Thank you Sincerely, ****** *****

      I took my ***** Silverado to Washworld on Ware Street in Abbotsford on Feb 21, 2022 and paid $21 for a wash in the drive through car wash. Once I pulled my truck in and the light went red to stop and put it in park, the machine started up. It was sensing when my truck was and adjusting itself. It then crushed my truck on both the driver and passenger side when it was sensing the my truck! The machine stopped after it had damaged my truck my causing big dents in both sides above the front wheel wells. The attendant had to reset the machine to get it moving again as it shut off after the accident. I filled out a claims report and was told to contact Washworlds main office. I have sent in photo's of the damage. I have been trying to speak to the manager but have been told they are out on location and not available to call me. It is apparent they are avoiding speaking to me about the major damage their machine did to my truck!

      We investigated the customer concern and our business manager spoke to her on February 22nd. We made an arrangement to have an autobody facility look at her vehicle to ascertain damage and suggest a timeframe for repairs. She did not want to take this vehicle to our chosen autobody shop but opted to take it to someone she knows and does business with. We have therefore asked this autobody shop to provide us with an estimate but have not received one yet.

      We spoke to her last Friday and she was still waiting for the estimate. If the estimate is reasonable, we will continue with the repairs.
