I am very pleased at having found Gordon F****** for my backyard renovation project. Gordon F****** is a very creative and resourceful landscaper, who spontaneously offers elegant ideas while on-site. His formal training as a horticulturist is evident in his discussion of tree care and nutrition, and in his plant selections based on sun exposure, garden location and plant growth habit. The most challenging aspect of the project is limited access to the backyard. Heavy materials (lumber, road base, sand, paving stones) must be transported down into the yard via a long set of stairs from street level, and old sod had to be moved from the garden up those stairs for disposal. Gordon found a brilliant solution by using a conveyor belt mounted on the stairs; its bidirectional movement allowed both easy removal of the sod and rapid (and safe) transport of the heavy paving stones down into the garden! Gordon is also a very effective and thoughtful manager of his small team from the perspective of time usage and judicious assignment of personnel with the appropriate expertise for the landscaping task at hand. Not only was his team meticulous and highly organized with their work, but they were very pleasant and courteous people, who conducted themselves professionally. At the end of each day, the tools were neatly put away and the work area tidied. Thanks to Gordon and his team, I now enjoy the summer from my beautiful backyard garden and patio.
