      Dear Sir or Madam, As of July 1, 2023 I have purchased via "The Leather City" website a *** woolen jacket and the product name is '**** ****** *** Jacket' ** ********* *** ** *** ************ **** ****** *******) , the order number being ******. I contacted the seller twice in order to obtain a date of shipment but I only got evasive answers that my item was with the model department. having received such responses, So I realy don't know when I'm going to receive the item. .Yet the seller and his site seemed plausible to me. No longer having confidence in this seller and I request to obtain a refund and file complaints with your organization. Please would you mind helping me with this Please, Madam, Sir, accept the expression of my most distinguished greetings. J'ai contacté le vendeur à deux reprises afin d'obtenir une date d'expédition mais je n'ai obtenu que des réponse évasive à savoir que mon article était avec le département de modèle. Après avoir obtenu de tel réponse sans savoir quand seras expédier la marchandise je n'ai plus confiance.Pourtant le vendeur et son site me semblait plausible. N'ayant plus confiance en ce vendeur je désir obtenir un remboursement et porter plaintes auprès de votre organisme.

      To whomever it may concern. We received an order from this customer on 1st of July. It was clearly mentioned in the confirmation email that shipping time will be 20 days.

      We were in constant contact with the customer, kept him notified regarding the progress and delays of the order.

      A day before (20th July) we shared as estimated shipping time of 4-5 days.

      Better Business Bureau:

      I have seen on the invoice and it's writing that it's take 20 days for free shipping but there nothing but nothing is mentioned between the manufacturing time and shipping. I would like to know how long is the manufacturing time and the time for shipping until receipt. SoI have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

      Yes, we have mentioned 20 days shipping time, (20 business days).

      We manufacture jackets/coats, sometimes there are unexpected delays due to material unavailability.

      Our team tried to be as transparent as possible, we are in contact with the customer via email and he has agreed to wait for a few more days and if everythng goes will he will close this complaint

      I ordered the product January 1st and they had it on hold since then. They sent me a message on the 18th claiming my bank declined the transaction despite the money being taken out of my account. That's pretty much ***** if I pay a hefty price for a product and do not get it or atleast a refund back.

      Hi,

      To whomever it may concern.

      This Customer, ******** ordered a Jacket from us on 12th of November, order was shipped out by 19th November.


      Order delivered on 30th of November. The same day she emailed us regarding her exchange request and while discussing the exchange she changed her mind and asked for a refund.

       

      We respected her request and provided her the return address. We responded to her over ******** as well regarding her exchange request.

       

      It seems like she filed a complaint with BBB at the same time while being in contact with us just to pressurize us and ****** our business. She was entertained properly, the refund was also processed prior to receiving the jacket. 




      If we wouldn't have responded to her then her complaint would have been valid, but at the moment her complaint is unfair.



      We also requested her to remove the complaint from BBB after we processed the refund but she never responded back.

      I ordered a jacket from the leather city for my *******‘s birthday. I placed the order September 8, his birthday is ********* **. I received the jacket right before his birthday and it is impossible to wear. The lining in the sleeves is sewn incorrectly and there’s too much lining, so there is no way to get his hands through the end of the sleeves. I communicated this the same day, September 29 to the leather city and told them I wanted a refund. There were other quality issues with the jacket, threads hanging out of seams etc. but it absolutely cannot be worn because the openings for his hands to go through are so small. The company has been stalling and refusing to give me authorization to return the jacket for a refund. * **** **** **** **** **** **** **** ** ******* ******* *** ***** *** ** *** ******** **** *** ******* I have sent them several emails and I keep getting the runaround, telling me to exchange the jacket. I have been very clear I don’t want this, I want a refund.

      Boyfriend ordered a jacket in Jan. When it arrived, we decided that he no longer wanted it & put “return to sender” on the box at concierge desk (witness). ***** picked up the package & mailed back to the company — (they later provided me w/ a trackingnumber).At that point, as a consumer, I should no longer be involved. I contacted them over 20 separate times asking about a refund for the jacket. They kept telling me it was my fault they didn’t receive the return & after I contacted *****, ***** told me they mailed it to them, gave me tracking number & if the seller didn’t receive it, to file a claim with *****. I relayed all of this to them. They didn’t care. They kept saying “they were in the losing side of this” bc they didn’t have the jacket. I told them it wasn’t my problem & technically I was on the losing side bc I had no jacket and no refund. Happy to provide all email documentation.

      The order was placed in January 5, 2021, after confirmation with customer the order was shipped via  ***** ******** ****** ************ dated January 19, 2021. the order was delivered and Signed for by: N.VALENCIA.

       

      Now as per customer he refused and returned back, we asked for paper proof but customer never provided, so how can we refund to the customer. we never received back the order. 

       

      You can check the tracking details on ***** website, although we offered 30% partial refund to customer in good faith but he refused.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      Onve again, this business isn’t interested in resolving anything. I contacted ***** who picked up the paclage from me (unopened) marked return to sender. *** ** provided me with the tracking number (previously submitted in this complaint) they used to ship it back. *** ** also said they could file a claim if they didn’t receive it. However, they have received it and are lying because earlier in the email exchange I forwarded, they admitted it went to the wrong facility. Mean the receive separately than they ship. They would’ve had to receive to know that. Their issue is with *** ** — not with me. They never asked how I would like my Money refunded because they never intended to return my money. Furthermore, why would I want a new jacket plus $30 shipping if I didn’t want the first one. This response from them further highlights their indifference towards their customers, only their attempt to take their money without regard to satisfaction. They have never tried to actually resolve anything. **** ** *** * **** ** **** *** I’m not accepting it

      As already informed you that we never received back the order, please share the tracking number if it was returned. 

       

      Moreover this is not the way to return the order, you should accept it and then make a complaint to return, there was a return paper inside of the order with address, but you refused to accept. 

       

      We are again checked with our store and no order received back from your name. 

       

      Although it is not our responsibility to give you refund, because you returned by wrong process, but again we are offering you 40% partial refund, if you are interested then let us know.
