In June I purchased a bouquet from Vancouver Blooms for CAD 112, I was charged USD$81.70. It was for delivery on June 19. On June 19, the delivery company attempted delivery. But they did not. They texted the recipient asking for their door code without identifying themselves, which of course no one would give them the door code to someone without identification. And then the company NEVER told me that the gift had not been delivered. There are a number of ways this could have turned out differently. The delivery person could have texted the recipient with IDENTIFYING themselves and asking for delivery instructions. The company could have sent her a text IDENTIFYING themselves and saying that there was a problem with delivery and asking her to call. They could have CALLED her and LEFT A MESSAGE saying that there was a problem and asking her to call. They could have TEXTED ME with the same type of message. They could have CALLED ME and LEFT A MESSAGE with the same type of message. They could have EMAILED ME and told me that there was a problem. AT NO TIME did the staff do ANY of these things that could have let us know that there was a problem. Instead for days, I thought the recipient had received the flowers and had not contacted me about them. AT NO TIME DID ANYONE FROM THE COMPANY ALERT US TO THE **** THAT THERE WAS A PROBLEM. I contacted them multiple times and they said it was our fault because they tried to deliver and couldn't. And they had sent me tracking info - with a note that the tracking info would not be updated for a while - so how would I know when it was updated. I had the very normal assumption that the company would let me know if there is a problem, as real companies do. When I contacted them, they simply offered for me to REPURCHASE the items for 60 more CAD. No way! I need a full (not partial) refund for this fraud. Check them on YELP - there are 10 other complaints, zero stars. This is fraud!
