Transaction Dates: December 20, 2021/ December 22, 2021 /January 6, 2022 Money you paid the Business: $294.39 What the business committed to provide you: Face masks: ** **** ***** N95 surgical mask made in Canada Situation: Medcarex failed to ship our orders of masks and failed to provide our order of masks for pick-up. Despite these facts, they charged my credit card, which I subsequently paid in full. Consequently, I contacted Medcarex. As instructed on the Medcarex site, I emailed them, called them and used the chat function. However, they did NOT return my call or reply to my emails or chat. Furthermore, I made another attempt to call, but the Medcarex voicemail was full. Importantly, we needed these face masks for health reasons. However, Medcarex ignored us and our concerns. NO one from Medcarex responded to us or assisted us. Even worse, in January 2022, a colleague informed me that these same N95 masks were “In Stock” on the Medcarex.ca website. I checked and the masks were in fact Available For Immediate Purchase. Notably, our orders from December 2021 had still not been filled. It appears that Medcarex had the N95 masks in stock, but Medcarex failed to fulfill its obligations to us. As a result, I sent emails to Medcarex in which I specified that I was Cancelling each individual order. Again, Medcarex failed to cancel the orders, they failed to issue me a refund and they failed to respond. I subsequently sent another email, reiterating my cancellation requests for all orders. At this time, I am requesting a full monetary refund of $294.39 from Medcarex. I am requesting the refund be issued by Medcarex to me in a secure certified form. Finally, importantly, in terms of due diligence, I contacted ** prior to ordering from Medcarex.ca. Additionally, colleagues had informed me that they had previously ordered from Medcarex without incident.
