      Hello Thank you for taking your time to review my case I'm really desperate about this situacion, im from ****** and i traveled to canada to know the country, in my trip i found this school named Cornestone than offers co op to study in their university. I was really interested to take one and i was recommended to do all the process with the agency ***** ****, than is not even regulated, and tis important to mention that he people working there lies about their position titles. I were assisted by an agent from this company, and they helped me do this process and helping me with my questions. I was told than in case than i cant travel again to Canada to live and study there, my money will be refund, i paid ************************************************************************************************************************************** back 250 dlls. this is an abuse since they are taking over the 70% for the cancelation. i'm not receiving any answer about this situation, I'm desperate and i don't want to lose all my money, Please help me

      Whom it may concern,

      First and foremost, we would like to express our sincere apologies for the complaint you raised regarding your student, ****, with our *********************** team. We deeply regret the issue concerning the refund for ********************* and are committed to taking swift action.

      As you mentioned, the school sent the refund amount to the student agent on August 17, but the agent did not proceed with the refund for approximately three months. Upon receiving your complaint, we immediately requested confirmation from the university regarding the refund process. However, the agent's response indicated that they could not proceed due to difficulties in contacting the student. Subsequently, they offered to process the student's refund on our behalf and have sent the amount of $225.50 today.

      Here is the information for this refundable amount based on the regal PTBI policy. I attached the policy file. 

      He was supposed to start the *** and dual diploma programs on 2023-11-20 and requested the refund on 2023-07-29, so he gave us over 30 days' notice. Therefore, this policy was applied to his case below, 

      Before the program start date,

      At least 30 days before the later of:
      a) The program start date in the most recent Letter of Acceptance
      (international students)
      b) The program start date in the enrolment contract.
      Institution may retain up to 10% of
      tuition to a maximum of $1,000.

      The letter of acceptance is considered a signed contract; accordingly, in case of cancellation/withdrawal,the refund policy is implemented.

      The total tuition fee for his registered 25-month programs was $8,445. Ten percent of the tuition fee was $844.5.

      Also, ***** will retain the following fees, including registration ($350, non-refundable), administration,cancellation and tuition fees, according to the program they have applied for,and there will be the $80 administration fee charged.

      Therefore, he is eligible to receive $225.50

      In terms of a timeline for the remaining steps, here is what you can expect:

      Verification: We received the amount from the agency today with the receipt (Which they should have sent to the student In August, which they couldnt). 
      Refund Processing: Following verification, we sent ********************* the refundable amount of $225.50 and shared the payment detail receipt with him. The amount will be deposited in his account within 1-3 business days. 
      Confirmation: Once he can check the amount in his account, it will be successfully completed. 

      Please kindly be informed that evidence of receipts has been attached. 

      We apologize for the delay and any inconvenience this situation may have caused. We are dedicated to keeping you informed at each step of the process to ensure transparency and a swift resolution.

      I am rejecting this response because all this information is not even provided by the agency ***** ****, i was told a different information about my refoud, this policy's is by the school, but this scool sales their study plans with an outside company's, there a is a lot of people upset and complaining in social media. about this situation , **** ** * ***** **** *** ** *** ** ******* *** ** **** ******* ** *** ******* ** *** ******* **** **** **** ** ******* *** ********* This is a lot of money for us, we work hard to collect that amount and that means a sacrifice, because we want to be better professionals. 

      What about the school responsibilities, they just will be protected by they regulations? and what about the people working from them, **** **** *** ****** ******** ***** *** **** *** ******** ** ***** ************ This is a clear abuse, i had been contact now just over 20 people dealing with similar situacion. 

      I need another answer from their part, i need my money back, not only 225 dlls this is like a joke.
