I bought 3 passes (2 day passes) for the company’s ******** festival on July 29. We were excited for the line up and had purchased the tickets with the hopes of seeing *** **** **** ** *** *** ***** It first started with *** *** being pulled, and there was a post on ********** ********* page that this was replaced with ******* ****. We found out that **** * also pulled out by ******** posting the set times, a day before the event. There was no official post that **** * wasn’t coming anymore. On Day 2 both Babyface and *** **** pulled out, and it is now known that *** **** did arrive at ********, had a disagreement with the company reps, and then left the area. ******** representatives then lied to the crowd who was waiting for *** **** for over 45 minutes. ******** this year was so highly anticipated yet it was so poorly planned and organized, and it left many ticket holders out of hundreds of dollars as the tickets this year were at an insane price. I spent $778 total and have the receipt to prove it. ******** guaranteed to give ticket holders “partial” refunds and for almost $800 they decided to refund me $40. It is unacceptable that this company scammed hundreds of ticket holders and are refusing to give refunds, when they knew headliners weren’t coming. One artist can’t come into Canada and they still promoted him and acted like he was allowed for this event. I am kindly requesting a proper refund, not $40 to a $778 purchase.Initial Complaint

I bought a 2-day VIP pass to ******** festival and the headliner/ artist was changed no previous notice. I'm am not interested in the replacement artist and have no intention in assisting for the first day, this solely lands on the producer of the event and not on the client. The value of the 2 two day passes was $ 829. I want to be reimbursed for the first day. Transaction details below: Thank you for your ticket purchase. For future reference, your order confirmation number is ******************************. A summary of your order follows: ******** FESTIVAL - 2 DAY PASS SEP 17 2022 to SEP 18 2022 from 02:00pm to 11:00pm *** ************ Price Type Price Level Qty Price Charge Fee Cost ------------------------- ----------- --- -------- --------- --------- ---******* *** *** *** * **** * ****** ***** **** ****** * ***** ***Business response

As much as we understand the consumers position, this is the concert business. The artist in question that was cancelled from the event was denied entry into Canada for a performance last week in Toronto, so we had no choice but to remove him from our event. We have provided a suitable replacement and maintained purchase value for our attendees by doing so. We have received minimal complaints from the rest of our over 6000 ticket purchasers for the event. This situation was completely out of our control, and we have done everything in our power to provide a value packed weekend for our customers and artists.
We had to work with limited options in a short window of time in terms of finding a suitable replacement performer. If we did not find a replacement we would have been looking a cancelling the entire Saturday of our event at tremendous cost to the venue, ourselves, and the rest of our attendees and artists who are still thrilled to join us tomorrow afternoon, and Sunday.
Should the consumer wish to sell his pass privately, there will be no shortage of people looking to purchase them.
Best,

I am rejecting this response because:
The second night *** **** the main performer did not show up again!
That is the main performer for day one *** *** and the main performer for day 2.
That is not the concert business, you buy tickets to see someone perform.
I need a refund or to the BBB to look into this concert production company, that's two no show main performers n one 2 day festival.
