            Purchase date April 15/23 $363 paid I purchased a pair of new expensive dress boots. The pair I received were damaged from factory. The toe was deformed and Dayton boots confirmed so. Being dress boots they are designed to be cosmetically pleasing. Dayton replaced the boots with another pair that has a damaged and separating sole with terrible stitching like a hobo wears. I have had countless emails and conversation but have not received any form of restitution just a run around. These boots are factory seconds and they are selling them as new. I was at their store over two years ago shopping for boots. The pair in my possession are the same boots I was looking at on the seconds rack in their store. The exact same flaws and manufacturer date and I find this not to be a coincidence. I'm flabbergasted at the way I have been treated and sold goods that don't meet the quality that Dayton boots claims. They claim too take the utmost pride in their attention to detail and quality. I have better made boots that cost half the price.
