On January 3, 2023 I reserved a birthday party spot for Aug 2 with Pirate Adventures. I did this because a) it stated that I may cancel my reservation at no charge up to 72 hours ( 7 days for groups of 15 or more passengers including party packages) prior to your departure, and b) I had similiarly reserved and then canceled a party booking with this company in 2021. They did not charge my card in 2021, but they did charge my card $754.92 on Jan 3, with an invoice that read "paid". On Jan 11 we decided to go a different direction with the party, and I sent an email request for cancellation. I sent a follow-up on Jan 16, then two voicemails and an email on Jan 19. I called, emailed and sent a ** Message on Jan 23. On Jan 27 I left 1-star reviews on ************ and ********* sent another email, and one more phone call. There is no answer every time. It says the season opens in May, but if they do not staff their office off-season, they should not be charging people's cards, as it's a significant sum of money to be out for 5 months.
