            A service call was placed on my gas fireplace. The specific issue was described to the service provider Richardson Wes Heating and Plumbing ********. The issue with my gas fireplace was that the gas fireplace could not start a flame but the pilot flame was on. When the service tech arrived at my place, he flatly told me that fireplace was not his specialty and he blamed that he could not find the gas valve without even spending a minute to look for it. He basically threw his hands in the air and wanting to leave the place but insisted to charge us $136.50 as a base charge and for doing nothing. If fireplace is not their specialty, why did they accept the service call *** **** ***** **** *** ********? They must refund my money. When we called Richardson Wes Heating and Plumbing ******** the owner of the business ***** ************ ** ******** ** ** *** hung up the phone. P.S. I checked one star because I could not complete the review without checking one. This business deserved zero star rating.

            After doing a diagnostic to Ms. **** fire place. It was determined that the thermopile needs to be replaced. Ms. ** was given the price for the replacement of the part. She declined so the technician charged her the minimum charge which is $130.00 + GST. We had explained the minimum charge before she placed the order for the repair.

            The worker told us that he does not have any experience with fireplace repair and suggest that we call a fireplace repair company instead. We then ask for his credentials but he said he did not have any. He told us that he does not have confident to work on any fireplace and said he could not find the gas shut off to do any work anyways. After he left we can see the gas shut off valve is right next to the fireplace. In addition, Richardson Wes worker that came to our condo did not wear a mask *** *** *********** *** ****** ****** **** ******** ********. I find Richardson Wes to be very unprofessional and I for one would not use them ever again. This is a warning to others to avoid this company.
