    My son attended Happy House Family Childcare from January until April 8th 2022. As per our contract, I paid a $1000 deposit. Niloofar A****** has returned $100 only and will not respond to any other requests for the remaining $900, even though she promised to return it as per the email attached. My request is for her to send me the remaining $900 ASAP. The contract attached states 6 weeks' notice. I gave notice on February 25th, 2022. Niloofar confirmed it had to be from the 1st of the month, so we agreed six weeks from 1st March, which would make his end date April 8th. This was done verbally, but I honestly had no idea that she would ever keep the deposit. I have met all her contract requirements and paid her in full - if she didn't receive payment by early morning on the 1st of month - we were admonished in person and sent abrupt reminders. We all paid her of course, as we were desparate to keep our spots. I was offered another spot in a new daycare which is much better for him (as they do lots of outdoor activity and he'd be with other children his age). The new daycare agreed a mid-April start date when I let them know I had to give six weeks notice to my current daycare - please see attached email. They have been very accommodating to meet Niloofar's contract requirements. She has not completed the childcare benefit forms, which were approved and entitled me to over $1000 (please see attached). The money would be sent to her directly to give to me, and I need to ensure she does not keep it. She went on holiday from 29 March and provided no care.
