After having investments with Pi Financial Corp for several years I was given the impression that I was valued as a customer. The war in Ukraine disrupted the normal volatility of markets and I felt my confidence affected negatively such that I decided to discontinue my investments. I did not expect that due to this, the respect for me would diminish. But, I found this to be true. Just recently Pi Financial made a big mistake when my T3s and T5008s were not sent to me on time, causing me to fail to file completely and correctly before the deadline. I was extremely disappointed and could not believe Pi Financial could make such serious omissions. In turn, a superficial, dry apology was what I received through email. Not even a phone call was received. And when I expressed my disappointment due to the implications on my timely filing (I had never been late with tax filing) I was simply directed to an admin assistant and henceforth, all my messages requesting further clarification were left unanswered. Why did the T5008 not have all the book values? What about my unblemished timeliness record? Gone were the days when I was given the impression that I was valued and important. Financial institutions should be more trustworthy and deserving as we the clients entrust our money to them. Their responsibility should encompass complications they cause and detrimental consequences of their oversight and error. They should accept accountability. What a poor display of accuracy and client relations by Pi Financial Corp.
