            On September 15, 2023, Docking Logistics came to the attention of BBB on our BBB scam tracker. At that time a consumer reported receiving a written email from the Human Resources Team informing the applicant was "successful completion of your telephone interview for the position of Payment Processing Manager at our company". The job was offered subject to the signing of the agreement. The applicant asked how they got his email address, it was explained that your company uses a recruiter.  The consumer noted that in the 'Employment Agreement' document the company official address is at 595 Howe St. but he also noticed the Seal on page 3 of 4, a residential address at 46201 Langara Ave, Vancouver, BC V6R 1E1.   BBB contacted the company to obtain updated information including a contact person, their start date, a brief description of products or services they offer, where they are located, and any current licensing they have in place. BBB also requested clarification on the hiring process.  To date, BBB has not received a response to our request for information.

            On September 15, 2023, BBB asked the business to substantiate the "Get A Free Quote" claim made on its website. BBB’s Code of Advertising requires businesses making claims of a free service/product to be prepared to disclose any terms and conditions.  BBB asked for substantiation but the business has not supplied this information.
