    I bought a sirloin steak, advertised in the display case as Prime for $20/lb. It was clearly not Prime. It was incredibly tough. The manager Ray replaced it with another sirloin also advertised in the case as Prime. It was equally as tough and clearly not Prime. To be honest I do not know why he would replace one with another knowing it was not Prime. The manager did not offer to refund me my money and in fact made no effort to rectify this issue. I also had bought a pork chop priced at $11/lb which was also very tough. I had mentioned this to the manager as well. Market Meats advertises itself as a high end operation and, to be honest, their high prices reflect this. I am dissatisfied with Market Meats and surprised they would not refund my money. To be frank, as well, this has ruined my dinners on two occasions and frustrated me with the poor service.

    I have emailed this store twice trying to elicit a response about my visit 8 days ago and have received no replies so I decided it was best that everyone be forewarned. So, this is what happened: First the person behind the counter tried to convince us that the $25 gift card we presented only had $.65 left on it. Needless to say we were a bit annoyed but were going to buy our selection anyway. All of a sudden after a few minutes, he figured out that we were right and what we owed after taking the certificate off was the 65 cents. Then on the credit card device it says that there is a minimum of $1 for credit card purchases so I gave him $5. I took the change without looking and when I got home I discovered that all he had given me was 65 cents (it was easy to tell as, like most people these days, I rarely use cash and that was the amount in my pocket). * ** *** **** ** ** ** ******* **** **** ** **** ** ** ** ** **** ****** ******* I am presuming it is not the owner that I dealt with because at that rate, I believe the store would have gone out of business a long time ago. Now that the owner/manager has not responded to 2 emails it is my opinion that this is a just a poorly run business. So let this be a warning: check carefully the amounts of your bill, the amount on the charge/debit machine or that you get the right amount of change We will not be back. Ever
