Prior to the service, I was informed via text that the labor would be billed hourly as the company was unsure of the exact time required to complete the job. However, upon receiving the final invoice, I was charged for an additional hour of labor that did not occur. When I inquired about this charge, the company claimed that they charge for certain tasks at a standard rate due to their experience and efficiency.This explanation contradicts the initial agreement of hourly billing. I have documentation of the initial communication and the invoice which clearly shows the discrepancy.Attempts to Resolve:I attempted to resolve this issue directly with the company. On May 29, 2024, I followed up with a message requesting a reimbursement for the additional hour of labor which did not take place, but did not receive a satisfactory response. On May 30, 2024, I spoke with a representative who became confrontational and eventually hung up on me, refusing to discuss the matter further.Desired Resolution:I am seeking a reimbursement for the additional hour of labor that was not performed, totaling $137.76 after tax.
