Hello,I commissioned an instrument (bass guitar) from Coloma Guitars in October 2023 by directly contacting ******** Coloma. After paying half of the total amount as a deposit (invoice attached)- delivery was supposed to be around Christmas (December 2023). I never heard back after that- finally after reaching out, I was told they were shuttering their business at ************************************************************ and moving to ***************, **. I contacted multiple people in the business along with ******** Coloma, who is the proprietor and builder I initially commissioned (who informed me she was unwell and undergoing treatment). She informed me the instrument was finished a long time ago and that a person named ****** apparently got my email wrong and hence did not ask me to pick up the instrument. After finally getting my correct email address- ****** asked me to pick up the instrument but did not honour the multiple times I attempted to pick up my instrument with no proper explanations or recourse (emails showing communications attached)After making an appointment on March 27th, 2024 to pick up the instrument, another person, ****** told me they were short-staffed (after they postponed an earlier date saying their float plane was delayed due to inclement weather). There has been radio silence ever since and I have not been contacted even after multiple attempts from my end. The last communication on my end was an email on April 6th, 2024 informing Coloma Guitars that I was looking for an update before seeking legal advice. There has not been a response to that either. I request the authorities look into the matter and advise on the next steps. Thank you,***************************
