    Hello, it's challenging to fit the whole experience in this window, I'm happy to explain as that might be easier. ************  In brief: - I hired HG to manage my condo in April 2022 - I knew they were a young company but the eagerness seemed trustworthy. - I felt like I was picking up the slack in their communications to my guest via ******, the platform they use to rent my condo. But did it as a "team player", to help them out as they grew their team. - Things seemed to be going ok for 2 months until I returned at the end of May to check in briefly. - From thereon communications were less prompt in replies to my concerns. - When I returned for the month of August, I was met with damages and neglect of property that were never accounted for whilst I was away. Therefore the cost of repairs, and time and energy was all out of my pocket. - This was heavily disappointing, though they said they would "take care of it", I actually took care of it. - I was also charged a random un-invoiced fee over $200, which they have yet to come clean on. They keep saying it was a deep cleaning fee from May, though nothing is adding up on their timing of events and charges. - I cleaned and repaired my condo for 7 full days in August. Instead of doing what I came to do, I was dealing with their neglect. This caused me stress. Damaged sofa I had to throw out, broken door, missing kitchenware, and on. I fixed everything myself. - End of August, I thought we were back on track and had moved forward to a degree, so I continued to keep them as my company. - I left on August 23rd, and handed over my keys and instructed them to start renting it again. - A week later I saw in my own ****** that they had not even opened up my calendar. - I called them out on it, and it took 2.5 weeks for them to act, thus I lost finances to cover my mortgage/bills and again was out of pocket. - September became even more stressful trying to communicate to them, as they turned on me.     Horrible service. I booked back in November for a trip in August. Then, only because I checked my credit card statement, did I see that I was credited the amount in JANUARY. I had to go find the phone number, as no one had reached out or emailed me, and finally, when I got someone on the phone, they were aloof to the fact that "oh yea, I remember this from a month ago, a bunch of bookings got cancelled because they weren't advertised correctly". I'm sorry, is that my fault? Honor the booking... It's your third party software that messed this up. Imagine if I hadn't seen this till June or July? My dad's 65th bday surprise could've been ruined. Customer service was awful, lady chalked it up to "ya some other people were upset, except for one lady who got a cheaper booking". I've never experienced this, from SERVICE BASED COMPANY. Absolute insanity, to the point now its almost funny how bad it is. I've let any and all social media followers and family know, to NEVER use HostGenius.
