After several years of my mom living here & never missing a $2000/month rent payment, she was informed that they were no longer re-offering her a lease. That's it. No explanation, no reasoning, nothing. Keep in mind, this was after having several noisy Neighbours, Neighbours who smoked in their unit CONSTANTLY and they had major construction renovations on the same floor in other units which they didn't inform her about, didn't ask to relocate her and failed to clean up after their completed work each day. ** *** ******* *** ** *********** ******* *** ***** *** ** ******* ******* ****** **** ***** So needless to say, after she ******** got pretty much kicked out of her unit, she had to scramble and attempt to find somewhere to live. ** * ******* ****** ***** ** * ***** ****** *** *** ** *** *** **** ****** **** ******* ****** ********* Which is fair because she wasn't financially preparing for a move out of the blue. (This is Spring/summer of 2022)I lived with my mother while I was ** ******* and moved out of her place July 2020. I informed the office vocally that I was moving out and asked to book an elevator. I also stopped paying for my monthly parking as, of course, I moved out.Now I have soon to find out because of a collections file on MY credit report, ********************* and the management of this company, never took me off the lease, even though I voiced my departure in July 2020 and NEVER signed the 2021 lease. I am stuck fighting for this collection payment to be taken off of my credit report. I haven't lived here for 2.5 years and they are now coming after me, at the failure of processes in this office. I have sent them a copy of the unsigned 2021 lease, my lease's with my new apartment buildings and they still expect me to pay for the owing amount. I don't think I should be at fault here for the remaining amount due ($915) considering I haven't lived at this property since July 2020? Please help as this has been a nightmare to deal with :/Business response
