      Transaction April 2, 2024. I have not paid yet. The proprietor has kept my lamp for 2 months so far. His shop has been closed during open hours, no note. I don't drive but my son has been there to get the lamp--shop closed, no note. I have been there with a friend, same result. Finally he agreed to deliver the lamp last night--stood me up, no call! In response to my call this morning, agreed to deliver tonight. Has not showed up yet, is very late, no call. Where is my lamp?! Has he lost it? Broken it? HELP!!

      Yesterday I faxed a copy of two invoices to the BBB fax #, and also e-mailed a copy of these invoices to Enmanuel. Please notify me that you have received these documents.

      To whom it may concern:

      When the store received the customer old table lamp, 3 April 2024. By then, She was reminded that it will take time to repair her old lamp. Her lamp is not easy to repair with a movable connection mounting its Cone shape metal like lampshade.

      EVERY CUSTOMER IS REMINDED BY ********************************************* BEFORETHE CUSTOMER SIGNED THE WORK ORDER THAT ********************** **** REPAIR COST = FIXED LABOR COST PLUS THE REPLACEMENT PARTS COST.

      SHE SIGNED IT AND AGREED WITH IT.

      Also, UPON RECEIVING ANY **** FOR REPAIR FROM ANY CUSTOMER, WE ALWAYS REMINDED EVERY CUSTOMER TO CALL 1 HOUR BEFORE GOING TO ********************************************* STORE TO PICK UP THE REPAIRED ****. WE NORMALLY CALL THE CUSTOMER THAT A **** OR ********************** FIXTURE IS READY FOR PICKUP.

      That sometimes it takes 3 to 4 weeks for us to received the parts delivery for the replacement parts from our supplier from the states.

      When we we received the parts during the third week of  May, we were able to repair her lamp.

      We called her several times informing her that the lamp was ready for pick up but she telling us that her son will pick it up.

      ANY WAYS, LANTERN LIGHTING HAD DELIVERED TO HER FREE OF CHARGED.

      LANTERN LIGHTING CHARGED HER $60 LABOR COST AFTER $5 DISCOUNT FROM $65 LABOR THAT SHE AGREED.

      WHEN THE **** WAS DELIVERED , SHE DOES NOT WANT TO PAY THE PARTS REPLACEMENT COST BECAUSE OF SO MANY REASONS SHE IS COMPLAINING ABOUT.

      SHE EVEN QUESTIONED WHY LANTERN LIGHTING COMPANY IS CLOSED ON SATURDAY?

      HOWEVER, WE HAVEN'T ENCASHED THE CHEQUE PAYMENT SHE ISSUED BECAUSE WE ARE WAITING FOR HER THREAT THAT SHE WILL FILE A COMPLAINT TO BBB.

      THE CHEQUE SHE ISSUED WILL PROVIDE THE ***** THAT **** WAS TESTED IN HER HOME.  WE TESTED IT AND IT WORKED FINE..

      PLEASE TAKE NOTE THAT THE **** WAS DELIVERED FREE OF CHARGE. LAST WEEK  SOME WHERE 4 JUNE 2024. 

      LANTERN LIGHTING NORMALLY DOES NOT DO ANY PICK UP OR DELIVERY SERVICES.

      I hope BBB will understand that customer has the whims to create their own kind of complaints.

      Today, I lost lots of my repair time and effort I should have spent to repair more lamps and lighting fixtures. I don't how BBB will really cover the lost income incurred by this kind of complaint.

      I don't know if its the best of interest really or really needed for Lantern Lighting Company stay as a member .of BBB ********* .

      LEFT AN ANTIQUE LAMP AT THE BUSINESS ON JULY 19. WAS TOLD THAT IT WOULD BE REPAIRED WITHIN A COUPLE OF WEEKS. SUBSEQUENT CALLS TO BUSINESS RESULTED IN NO COMMITMENT AS TO WHEN REPAIRS WOULD BE DONE. BUSINESS VOICE MAIL IS FULL. EMAIL COMMUNICATION BOUNCES BACK AS BEING UNDELIVERABLE. ******** ***** ** ****** ** ******* ** *** ****** ** ** *****

      Our previous suppler for antique lamp parts from the ** closed their business.

      Our new parts supplier was not able to send us a repair parts yet. 

      Although, we are hoping they will be to supply the next coming months.

      Because of that we're not able to repair your lamp

      Please call Lantern Lighting Company to pick that lamp. 

      We ***** charge our customer unless it any lamps is repaired.

      We are sorry for that inconvenience.
