In early December I emailed ABC to enquire about printing photos on panels and about ordering enlargements as well. I received information about a plaque mount technique so I ordered two 5x7 plaque mount and one 8×10 plaque mount. I noted that I had files from a professional photographer and was told to use ******* and email the link to to make my order. I did so, and these were to be for Christmas. When the plaque mount images arrived they were all too light in developing, compared to the professional digital files. So light that my Dad's head blended in with the water behind him. Also, the 8x10 plaque image cut off so much of the photograph at the left and right side that ankles and feet were cropped out in the image. I complained about these two problems but they didn't provide any refund or remake of the plaque images. If the digital file would have required a different size plaque, such as 8x12 instead of 8x10 I would have hoped the business would look at the image dimensions and inform me beforehand since I corresponded with the same customer service person each time I emailed. I was never advised about the dimensions and the plaque looks terribly cut off and all three are much too light in developing. ABC said the fault was **** paper and that they would give me a discount if I made a new order. I didn't want to spend even more money when the company had done an unsatisfactory job and it was only a short time before Christmas so my gifts couldn't be done in time. I am very unhappy that my money was wasted on three gifts I couldn't use.Business response

She views the new prints before submitting them again to be mounted.
She does not change the sizes as requested. If the sizes are changed the above mentioned still applies plus payment for the difference.

I would recommend a number of sample prints be made from the digital file,which will have to be viewed and accepted before final prints are made.When the final prints are made they will also have to be viewed and signed off on before mounting. The client is dealing with two different values, a computer screen and a physical photo print.They render differently, as such exact matching cannot occur.Business response
