We called Aslan to come up to fix our furnace. My teens were home when he came. My husband got home 30 min later and it was still not working. We called this morning and ****, the owner said that *****, the guy who had come up said that he would not have left unless the job was done. It was not done. I explained the situation, but he said that he would not come back unless he was paid to do it. I said that it was not done in the first place. I know that he will charge. He was quite a rude and angry man. He said that sometimes furnaces have intermittent issues and he gave an example of someone needing to have them call back 7 times, that is a high cost. i refuse to pay for a service that I did not receive. I have not yet paid, but of course they will send me an invoice.Initial Complaint

November 20 23 Aslan did work on my oil furnace and some electrical work.Was overcharged for hours worked and double billed for mileage.The extra hour was removed from the bill ($120) but refused to remove one of the mileage charges. ********** ***** ** **** ****** ****** ********** ******* *** ********* ********Business response

We have removed the milage from this invoice. Pay both your invoices immediately! If they are not paid before December 18/23 we will file in court. The matter of $24.70 which you signed the Work Authorization Form agreeing to pay for milage you have gone back on your agreement. We will not be responding to any further emails from you. We will send a copy of the *** and the milage round trip from our shop to your residence and back to our shop so the BBB can respond in kind to your untrue complaint.

Better Business Bureau:
The payment would have been paid right away had the invoices been correct in the first place.
********* ******* ** ******* ***** ** *****. The extra hour charge and the double billing of the mileage has been removed from the invoices. Having the signed authorization form does not give the company immunity from the law.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Had work done on air conditioner July 2022 told them should be covered under warranty as it was only 2 years old at the time. They did not come back to check that the refrigerant that they put in wasnt still leaking.Did not hear from this company until almost a year later. Phone call on Sept 29th 2023, explained we did not hear from them in almost a year? Offered to pay for the refrigerent that was put in but thought the rest of the bill( 3 hours labour mileage fee?) after almost a year was disputeable?Initial Complaint

Received March 2023 Billed from May 30 2022 Amount of bill 252. and change, for a repair of a outside frost free bib. I supplied the tap . He rejoined pipes together after a rupture to pip and installed a shark bites and and pecs . Charged 1.5 hours . ****** labor and rest in parts and supplies and taxes. Job took half hour. 120 per hour. I signed a paper before anything was written on it .I thought I was agreeing to hours if were over time and call out which I questioned before I signed and he said it was standard and not relevant in this case. That was not the case when I challenged the billed hours of work .I was then told I signed a paper which states that 2 hours for call out . I was told they have Gps stating he was at my house for 1.5 hours that is a lie outright. When I called about this bill in march it was not even made. When I did get it I called about the time and was told it was right. I went to the business restating my claim that the labour was wrong I was asked to leave their business and they took my bill *** I Understand things they are trying to pull that no matter what they get ****** upfront before they even start job. I did not agree to that plain and simple I would not have agreed to. Having not gotten bill and phoning for it to find it was not done, gave me pause. In October 2020 we requested Aslan come out to our house and repair a gas fireplace insert. They came out three times trying to fix the issue and were unable. They told us the only solution was to replace the entire insert so we told them not to bother - we were selling the house anyway so we left it not working. In November 2021 we received a bill from Aslan for over $1000. We thought since they had not repaired anything they were not billing us, but apparently they were just behind in their billing. A year behind. I contacted them and asked for an explanation and was told - you called us - pay the bill. We are reasonable people and we do agree we called them, but we strongly felt a $1000 charge for no repair was way out of line. We offered to split it. They have declined. I do not want to damage our credit - but to charge us a year after the fact over $1000 for no repair is ridiculous.
