    Oct 6th Dowell's Moving and Storage came and loaded my furniture. Some of my furniture was thrown on the truck with no protective wrapping. One of the movers kicked my leather loveseat twice to fit into a tight place. This one piece was damaged and noted during the delivering Oct 7th. Pictures were taken and I was told a following up call would happen. Nothing did. I called mid November to find out what were they going to do. A date was setup to pickup loveseat for repair Nov 24th. It is now December 19th and they still have not repaired my loveseat. I called again this morning and now have been told that they don't have anymore to repair it. Perhaps they will have more luck in January. I find this unacceptable. I am leaving the country on January 13th and do not have any confidence that this will be fixed. I do not want them to have my loveseat without having a confirmed date that this will be fixed. I do not have any confidence that my loveseat is remaining in decent shape being in their warehouse.

    Terrible experience with not one worker, but the second worker sent was just as unprofessional! The first insulted my husband for watching him unpack our living room items. He told my husband he should go find something to do. My husband called the F&E coordinator and asked them to remove the worker from the job. The worker went upstairs and put clothes into the closets without asking me which closet they went into. So now I have to redo it. Then when my husband came back after an hour, the worker was still there. ****** ***** **** the manager came a second time after my husband contacted F&E again. The next crew sent had one worker who was very unprofessional as well, rushing like he was in a frenzy, dropping our cutlery all over the floor and sounded like something smashed. I was putting the kitchen things away. Next he went to the basement and started dumping the things onto the floor from the boxes, again in a frenzy. I didn’t feel safe being in the basement with him tossing our belongings so I went upstairs and asked the other worker to help me unpack the washroom boxes which were blocking the tub. That worker was helpful. The other guy called him to the basement to help him. The bedrooms still weren’t finished being unpacked, which was more important than the basement. My husband came home and saw the worker tossing things in the basement and asked him to stop and leave. They left and got full pay for a half done job. The manager doesn’t have integrity, or care about how his workers do their work. He didn’t even introduce who he was and why he was there around 10am.
