I would not do business with Ecoline again. I say this despite my overall high satisfaction with the quality of the windows (form and function), the installation and the pricing. Let me explain why. In the weeks immediately leading up to the scheduled install date I was advised that I must make full payment before installation commences. Despite my many communications with Ecoline expressing my very serious concern with this business practice, they adamantly refused to back down on their demands, and directed me to their microscopic weasel words in the original contract which stated 'Ecoline Windows reserves the right to require full payment prior to delivery', which they used to force me into pre-payment leaving me with no hold-back in the event of installation issues or product defect, or even total non-delivery. This caused me considerable distress in these several weeks, having already paid my deposit several months earlier to secure the contract and now being treated with absolutely no trust. I have never, in 35 years of various home ownerships been so treated, You can be sure that I will read all future contracts checking for such wording. Big fail, Ecoline.
