            I received an invoice from Curtis Pavement for the removal of asphalt and concrete and laying of asphalt on my driveway but I don't have details for the work they did. I have partial information, only, for one day. And they haven't responded to my request for details on the complete job nor justification for 39.5 hours of work, for 3 people, on that one day. I was around for each day and know the timelin Plus on the day where they said extra work would be required, I was told the extra cost , was $3,500 on top of the original estimate of $8,500 ((verbal) 9,550 (written, but no details) They asked for 50% of the est, up front, of $4k. But then they said that what they meant was 35 tonnes for the final number for the weight. Even so, they did not adjust the weight from 37 tonnes to 35 tonnes. In addition, I am curious as to why my flat driveway cost $15,770 **** * *** ********** * ***** **** ***** *** ** * ***** ******* *** ******* **** **** **** ***** ********* *** ** ********

            We had a few difficulties scheduling the work, however once the crews arrived, they did an exceptional job. The crew were clean and efficient, they left the site very tidy once they were done. Their crew leaders were highly experienced with good skills and judgement. Our driveway is sloped and needed hand contouring which they did carefully and accurately, using both machines and by hand. The finished result is excellent. Highly recommend.
