      Sunlife committed to depositing approximately $49,000 into my bank account by Monday September 19th, 2022. I sent all documentation requested from Sun Life including the Settlement Option Form, bankruptcy discharge and bank information etc. I followed up to see if it was received. Sunlife confirmed all documentation was received and indicated the turn around time was 5 business days. The 5th business day was Monday September 19th, 2022. When the money did not arrive on the 19th of September, I followed up the next day to see what was the hold up. I was told 1-3 business days and that it would be classified as an escalated request. After 3 business days, I followed up again because I still had not received the money. I spoke with Matt ***** of Sunlife and he indicated that he would personally handle my situation and again escalate the request. Matt ***** indicated about her 1-3 business days. Matt ***** then emails me an apology and indicates that he will follow up with me on Wednesday October 7th, 2022. Sunlife indicated from the beginning that due to my bankruptcy, restrictions had to be lifted. I provided my discharge information at the beginning which is a one page document that lifts the restrictions. Sunlife asked for the discharge paper and I provided it. They confirmed receipt of the discharge paper with all of the other documentation requested and indicated a 5 day turn around. It is now Oct 4, 2022 and I still have not received the money. Can you please help me resolve this? ******* ******* ******* *** ************************* ***** *** **** *******

      Sun Life has an app and web portal which are lacking and some information provided by the app is confusing to interpret. They denied a claim for an eye examination because it was before the 24 months since the last exam. I disputed this as their app which I used gave me the impression there was coverage. ***** **** ******* ******** ************ ** *** *********** ***, they dug in and flat right refused to pay. How is the customer suppose to make an informed decision when the app doesn't display critical information. I tried to dispute it up the chain of command, but again they would not listen. ********* ** ***** ****** ********* **** *** ******* ** ******* ********* **** *** ** ** **** ***** ***** ** *** *****
