      When I contracted Prelude Landscaping it was to create slope and water draining system outside of the house so we did not get water in our basement after winter and during rainy season. Its crew finished the job May 31, 2023. Before he finished the job I tried to explained I was concerned about the water getting out of the gutter to the drainage he had created. Wednesday last week rained a lot and we had pooling of water where the gutters meet with the grass and the fence. I have sent two texts and my husband spoke with him on Thursday. He said he had fixed the problem of water in the basement. He said he would come and look and give us a quote to fix it. He has not come by. He gave us Two years warranty.

      There seems to be some misunderstanding as after I spoke with the clients, husband by phone. I went by the house the following day and took measurements to modify the drainage system.  I missed the text message request from Mrs, ******** but I noticed she tried to contact me and I called her today to explain to her that i had gone by the home as promised.  The original issue was to take the water from gathering at the basement walls which we accomplished.  The photos that were sent was when we had a heavy rain fall. I explained to my customer today that the drain did move all of the water out, I also explained to her that the water can only move so fast, and that the drainage system is working. I also advised her that modifying the drainage system the way she has in mind will move the water to an area which will eventually damage the paving stones and create other issue.  *** **** ** ** ***** **** * **** ****** ** *** *** **** *** ***** ** ******** **** ********* ** *** **** ***** *** ******** *******

      I am rejecting this response because: I initially believed what Prelude said on his response to you guys. 

      However, I have had two companies coming over and looking at the drainage system prelude installed and both have said the drainage system was not connected to a pipe to get the raining water outside of the channel drain system installed by Prelude Landscaping. They said to speak with Prelude and get the job done properly. That should have been done and water tested before saying the job was done. 

      I am so sorry, I do not think I should accept this because of the same anymore.

      This surprising as we did have a discussion, but if this is what you would like then as soon as I have the opportunity I will come out and add the end pipe that you have requested.

      Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********* and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

      I think it would be better if a third party could reviewed his work. I do not like he lied to me. 

      He did not specify how long it would take for him to connect the two ends of the draining channel either to the weeping tile or to the pipe and do the water test to see if it is working . 

      I am so sorry. * ** *** ***** * *** ***** *** *******. I will be complaining again if he does not do his job within 3 months or things are not working properly.
