“yet to come and fix the ceiling and the side of the extension from where [they] now think the leak is coming from.”, the same was sent in message form to their cellphone. Mar. 24, 2023, message to remind them to fix the leak and the opened ceiling. May 12, 2023, not fixed. The floor in the sunroom they changed but didn’t even level it. Promise to “waterproof (sic) side wall and roof”, yet not done on the east side of the sunroom. When we got the quote on May 17, 2022, we asked (price seemed high): ”it this the maximum that we would expect to pay for the whole work? Meaning, this includes if there are any surprises underneath the floor?”. The answer we got (May 17, 2022): “Yes If the floor is insulated [meaning NOT insulated as can be understood from the context of that message] or rotten (sic) joist we will take care of that yes”. They certainly didn’t insulate the floor (cold experienced all winter), didn’t replace any rotten joists **** ****** *** ******** ** *** **** ** *** ********. Repeated requests, yet unwillingness to finish the job and ************ in doing it. Leak not fixed, hole in the kitchen from where a cold draft has been entering into the house all winter long. We don’t believe them able to fix it, are rather concerned that if they try, they might make things worse. We want a full refund and someone else ********* to finish/redo this job for us. **** ******** ******** *** *****
