      Initial work order was to replace all bulbs in our very high living room ceiling along with other electrical work in our house. Work was completed December 14, 2022. Invoice **** for $**** was paid. Two days after the work was done one of the new ceiling lights burnt out. I contacted Mr. ****** and on February 10, 2023 the defective bulb was replaced. I then received an invoice****** for $*** plus taxes for the replacement of the defective bulb. I contacted Mr. ****** as I did not feel I should be financially responsible for replacement of a defective bulb he placed. He denied any responsibility. ** * ********* ** ** **********  I do not feel I should pay $*** plus taxes for replacement of a bulb that failed after 2 days and for which I just paid. Thank you.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      Firstly, I am not asking for charity.  I asked and am asking Mr. ****** to exercise integrity and take responsibility for his work ***** ******.  This is an issue of principle.  I paid $**** for a job.  A few days later part of that job failed.  I was then billed another $*** to have the defective work redone.  ****** *****  *** ******** ******* ** ** **** ** ********* ** **** ********  

      Secondly, I have at least 2 witnesses who will attest and sign a legal document if necessary indicating the very short time period after installation December 14, 2022 that the bulb burnt out.  Mr ****** was contacted after the Christmas break as we had family visiting.  

      Thirdly, Mr. ****** has left me nothing to accept other than his defensiveness.  He is offering no compromise, to which I would be open to discuss, or apology for his failed work.

      Our workmanship did not fail. A bulb failed.

      We brought two men, obtained a non-standard 12 foot ladder, a new bulb which we got from **********, and we replaced a bulb.

      We charged a minimum service call.
