****** Extremely Disappointing Experience with Dufresne – Order Cancellation Requested We recently moved back to Manitoba and decided to purchase a mattress and TV from Dufresne based on a great experience with them in 2014. The delivery was promised for August 29, the same day we moved into our new home. We planned everything around having the mattress ready to sleep on that night. However, the delivery never came, and there was no communication from the store. The next day, after waiting in vain, I had to personally visit the Steinbach store. I was informed that due to some issue, the delivery had been postponed to September 11, without any explanation beforehand. With two young children (ages 5 and 18 months), this caused significant inconvenience and stress. I later received a brief apology from a sales clerk, but it didn’t address the seriousness of the situation. The lack of timely communication and the failure to deliver on time has dismantled the positive image we once had of Dufresne. We’ve since made other arrangements and have requested the immediate cancellation of our order. It’s disheartening to see such poor service from a reputable chain, and I urge Dufresne to take customer satisfaction more seriously.

Was in a pinch with delivery date with one Dufresne, called a second location on Ellice, and they went above and beyond to get my order delivered to me in the required time. 4 stars for now, as I haven't received the items yet.

The service was excellent, both on the phone and when we arrived in person. The sales person was helpful without being pushy - offered frank feedback on the various models and their features, and didn’t attempt to upsell. Very pleased with our experience and will definitely return for future shopping.
