Nov 2023 Mr Rooter installed a backwater valve in my basement. The contractor that came out said that he need to remove a portion of my floor. After he finished, I asked him if he was going to fix the floor as they completely tore it up. The gentleman told me that I needed to get a hold of the office. I have an email from November 9 of 2023 from Lori ****** saying that they would fix the floor. The contractor by the name of Dennis I am unsure if his last name was the gentleman that was supposed to fix the floor. Dennis came over. I am unsure of the date to do an estimate on the floor and decide what would be the best way to fix the floor. Between me and Dennis, we made several appointments for him to come over and fix the floor. These were all no-shows on Dennis part with no consideration on letting me know that he would not show up. I do have a few emails and texts from Dennis with dates that he was supposed to show up on and fail to do so. I have multiple emails from Lori ****** when I was inquiring when my floor would be fixed. The owner of Mr Rooter phoned me about three weeks ago so I can go ahead with Dennis or find my own contractor to come and fix it. **** *** * *** ** ** ******* **** **** **** ** *** ***** *** *** **** ****** **** ** *** ******** ******** *** ** **** ** ** *** **** ***** ** ********** **** *** ******** *****. Dennis quoted the floor to be fixed at $*** ****** ********* ** ****** **** **** ****** ** ** ********* ***** ******* The owner of Mr Router only give me the $*** that Dennis said would cost to fix the floor. Two estimate and each contractor wanted $*** nonrefundable money to come and look at the floor. On March 8 I reached out to Dennis via text to ask him when he would be over to fix the floor to this date. I have not received a reply. My floor is still torn apart and no one is contacting me to win the floor will be fixed. **** **** *** **** ****** *********Business response

It is clear that Ms. ******* is unhappy with the flooring company that we attempted to get to fix the damaged flooring. ** ** ****** ****** **** **** ** *** **** *** ***** **** *** *** **** ******** ******* *** ********* ** ******* *** ******** ******** **** **** *** ****** ******** **** *** ********* ********
Although the flooring had to be removed to do the plumbing work that we did in the home, we would like to help get it to a better working condition. Since our attempt to arrange for a flooring contractor has not been successful, and since being the middle-man has not been effective either, I suggest Ms. ******* getting a couple quotes to arrange for the repair as mutually agreed, and we can go from there.
If Ms. ******* would rather not deal with us at all throughout this process, I would agree to settling this issue with a cash settlement of $***** to help rectify the situation adequately.
I am sorry that this situation has happened the way that it has, and I hope that my suggested options allows us to move forward.

Called Mr.Rooter on July 29th due to a sewer back up. They were not my first choice but they were the only company available. Technician arrived and informed me the line was blocked by roots. Proceeded to apparently clean the line and I paid the $*** bill. Was advised that I need the hydro jet cleaning to properly clean the line to prevent further clogs. Fast forward nine days and the line is backing up again... Called to schedule a return visit as I was giving them a chance to fix their mistake. They were not available that day but scheduled an appointment for the following day. I was told that they would arrive in the morning but only after a follow up call, the tech arrived a 3pm. He *** ** ********* ** ****** ***** ******* **** wanted to sell a $*** hydro clean. He was told to leave as I was not paying that.... Proceeded to call the original company I was going to use and when he arrived he found the line to still be full of roots. The first blockage was within 10 feet of starting his camera. He cleaned the line properly, gave me videos of before and after his cleaning.
