To whom it may concern;
Aluminum work was done in 2013 to this home. Rotten fascia was replaced as per the quotation. Homeowner contacted us to advise that he had squirrel and possible raccoon issues and expected this to be covered under warranty.
Our repair manager was out last year and determined damage from rodents to the exterior aluminum work. Advised that we could quote for repairs as this is not covered by our workmanship warranty. (Rodents, acts of God, hail, etc)
When contacting our office last week he was trying to ask us if we would fix the issue and told us he would give us a "roofing job" out of it if we decided to agree as he knows and fully understood this is not a workmanship issue.
He was ********* rude, constantly interrupting and yelling at our admin on the telephone and would not let her speak. Multiple threats were uttered and several times he indicated he would file complaints if we did not fix the issue caused by the rodents. Our company does not tolerate any form of abuse/threats and once again, damage from rodents is not covered by any company under a workmanship warranty.

Complaint: ********
I am rejecting this response because:Last year no one came out. But now they confirm the work, paid work, and problems except not replacing rotten wood (all came dome, is coming down). - was different on the phone where they did not know me -. Obviously it is something they did and not I. Rodents came AFTER the facia came down.
Rodents do not chew of metal facia but came after it fell down .
I contacted BBB, now, after no results on the phone or open to deal with it, and her brutality in words (talk me down). Like last year. It is present culture to continue talking and let not the customer speak? ** **** ***** *** ********** *** *** **** **** *********** ** ********* ** **** ** ****** ** ******* **** ***** ** *** *** * ********** ** * ******* ** *** **** ** **** **** ** ** *** ******** *********** *** **** ** **** ************ *
Tonight I send pictures of the business card showing 547 had to return after the job was done, and paid, and came. Exchanging rotten boards. (Logically this business card has to be done after the job was completed. **** *** ******* ** ***** ****** **** ******* ***** ******* ******** *** ** *** *** ** **** *** ***** ****** ************ * *** *** ****** *** ******

Unfortunately we are not sure how else to comment on this matter. We did in fact communicate with the customer and there were never any issues with the workmanship until he had rodent issues. Previously he advised he had other work done to his house when we had indicated we do not cover damages from squirrels and raccoons.
It is truth and not accusation that he was verbally rude and did not treat our office staff in any professional matter besides uttering threats.
Workmanship is not based on rodents coming in or alterations made by other contractors and then coming back to a company over a decade later to try to get compensation or make false complaints.
Unfortunately as a business, we now live in this type of world where we have to endure harassment with no validity to false claims and we can only professionally advise/speak the truth.
It clearly shows that he acknowledged this is not warranty work when he tried to tell us to fix it and in turn he would give us a roofing job. Why would someone who is so disappointed in our “workmanship” want us to do business or trust us to do his family member’s roof. It acknowledges the mistruths in this entire complaint.
