I got financing on my own, through "Finance That". I purchased a 2014 ***** 680 Rincon. The dealer said the bike was in running condition to the exception of rear brakes. I accepted this and took possession of the bike on November 18th 2022. I hired someone to tow the bike from dealership to my address. On Saturday I took my bike for first ride. Less than 10 km into the ride, critical noises came from front end of bike. I returned home and contacted dealership. I asked if he was willing to help with this and he flat out refused. I left bad reviews and he threatened me with lawyers and the police.

Honda CRC purchased on Sept 26 2022 with a 2 year safety inspection Husband wanted to do maintenance...oil change, spark plugs, air in tires and an inspection to what he can see of the vehicle. the CRV had 2 HUGE holes and rear brakes that were finished. Which does not pass a safety. My husband contacted the used dealer because I wanted my money back was completely not satisfied, a dealership selling a vehicle with 2 year safety - which no garage would pass a safely on a vehicle like this made me question the dealer. He told my husband that we would have to go after the garage who did the safety but he would allow me to pick another vehicle on his lot. The point of me having a reliable AWD drive was because I drive all over during the winter with my children for my daughters sport, which this seller was aware he was persistent on how good of a SUV this was for me to travel. I paid $9,500 for this vehicle on the road. We got the parts for the brakes and got the repairs for the holes done. On Friday October 21, 2022 we packed our children and our nephew to head to Miramichi, NB for an activity. As we were arriving to Miramichi, the CRV started to smoke and the RPM would not surpass 3000..we pull over and to my surprise the motor in the CRV had blown. My husband contacted the dealer again, wanting our money back on this CRV that is unsafe, I did not even travel 1500 KMS with the purchase. I can not drive the CRV anymore and I am out $9,500. The dealer seems to feel like this is ok. This large sum of money on a purchase and something this catastrophic happens, a blown motor along with all the other issues. I want my money back from this dealer. I feel he is neglectful in resolving this issue from day 2 of having the vehicle. I definitely will never purchase from him again and word of mouth will be passed along.

I am rejecting this response because:
I am attaching the yellow safety slip which did not come with the CRV. I needed to contact ******* ****, licencing officer for the Dept. Of Justice and file a complaint with *** ********, who is the motor vehicle safety officer in regards to the faulty safety placed on CRV. He is the one who printed ans hand delivered me this copy, which you can see states "will need brake and roters soon" along with something else which I cant read. The safety was done in aug and crv purchased sept 26. I am waiting for the report from Mr. ******** to include in my legal paperwork for small claims court. There is also rear

After reading the rejection I don't understand what the mvi has to do on my end the MVI was good up until August of 2024 I am not the person that had that vehicle inspected in the first place and the inspection was not old either it was done in August of 2022 and I sold this vehicle in Sept of 2022 1 month old MVI!!  I think what you are doing is wrong and the person that you should go after if what you are saying is the truth it's the mechanic that place the MVI on the vehicle in question.... This has to stop now I have done nothing wrong on my end here I sold a used vehicle that was sold as is and you were made aware of this before you purchase the vehicle I am in my right; I have done nothing wrong and as for the inspection MVI as you say that as nothing to do whit me stop harassing me whit it. Just because I sold you the vehicle in question doesn't mean that what is happening right now is my fault as a business owner witch, I work hard to make a living selling used vehicle I never wish nothing to happen to my dear and valued customers and I always offer a good service whit a smile and I always tried to do my very best to please everyone and I always get good feedback after the sale as well and also I always recommend to my clients to go and try the vehicle before buying it!!! I am not a mechanic and also if they want to bring it to a garage of their preference to get it check before buying the vehicle, I have no problem what's so ever whit that I always make my clients aware of this it's their decision as the consumer to do so! I give them that peace of mind and it's their decision at the end to do so or not I never force someone to buy a vehicle!!! If you have more question don't hesitate to call me my cell phone number is *********** yours dearly Tristan Auto Sales
