Purchased a washer/dryer and stove on Sept 23/23. The dryer and stove were available immediately but had to wait for the washer. The employee told me it would be 2 weeks before the washer would be ready for pick up and if I could wait the 2 weeks I could take all 3 with only 1 delivery charge. I began calling mid Oct with no response. I then went to the store in lower Sackville and spoke with the girl who was working about what was happening. I asked for the manager or owner to please call. The girl stated that the owner would not phone me back but she would try to find a resolution to the problem. I have continued to try and call the many numbers connected to Atlantic Appliance wholesalers to get refunded my money with no success. So as it stands now I have paid 1550 for appliances I don't have and am unable to get my money refunded.Initial Complaint

I purchased a stackable washer and dryer from Atlantic Appliance Wholesalers over Marketplace January 6, 2023. They offered me a discount for a new model that had a dent. $1,299. Their exact words were that ‘It’s a new unit with just cosmetic damage’. I agreed. When it was delivered the mover noticed that the one front foot was missing. On the side that the dent was. I contacted the company and they said they had two matching legs. I asked if they could come the next day to put the new leg on, I was told I would have to go to their store and pick them up and that I would have to attach it. I told them I could not. There was just me (I am 63 and alone). They said I would have to find someone to attach it. I then had to drive a long was out from my location to their store which was a big warehouse and very isolated to get the foot. I then was able to find someone to attach the leg, but it was very hard for me to find this person. We then found out that the foot would not attach because the leg was damaged inside the machine, I contacted them again, they said they would look into it. A few days later I contacted them again and was told very briskly that they would get back to me when they had a decision. That was several days ago. I now am out $1,562.99 (machine +HST + deliver) and a machine I cannot use.Business response

Hello,
The customer had called the store to say that one of the legs was missing, the sales guy gave the customer 4 new legs.
There was a small dent in the front of the machine which we sell new and used appliances with scratch and dent or minor cosmetics to them, but that wouldn't affect the leg from going in.

Hello,
We are sending up a new GE laundry center to Moncton on the next transport truck.
Once Moncton receives the truck they will call the customer to do the exchange.
