Date:June 15, 2022 Monies Given:Upfront deposit of $6210.00 which was the required 75% Business Commitment:Repair, straighten/level and stain front, side and back deck, repair/replace damaged wood siding, repair eve on front porch, clean, sand/scrape to remove loose stain on exterior of story cottage, stain exterior of two story cottage, repair, straighten, reinforce and stain fence at the front of property, light landscaping to clean up over grown trees, repair front porch door. Work not completed based on commitment: Stain front, side and back deck, stain exterior of two story cottage, repair, straighten, reinforce and stain fence at the front of the property, some landscaping was done such as mowing of the lawn and removal of some bush but very minimal as it was still a jungle, the few repairs of the boards on the deck was done in a poor manner where I've hired another contractor to remove the deck completely as it was 80% rotten, the stairs on the front deck were not changed and in bad condition, the repairs that were made to replace the damage wood siding was done poorly where it was half boards vs full boards of which I am getting those repaired by another contractor and any removal of old planks that they took apart, were just left on my property next to my deck. Communication took place on June 30th, at the time they were offering $1901.13 of which I said I needed proof to accept this amount. I followed up on July 7th as I had not heard back and their reply was simply "I do not owe you anything, however without prejudice I offer you 15 percent of monies paid amounting to $931.50. This was our last communication as I realize they are not being responsive to my requests. All I asked for in my email was to return to me the moneys that belong to me based on the work that has not been done and since they claimed supplies such as stain was already purchased, I asked them to give it to me as I've paid for it but wanted proof with receipts...and I got nothing.
