I booked a hotel room with them through booking.com and we drove over 3 hours as we had a wedding to go to that evening. When we got there the lady at the desk yelled at us to pull the door shut, sayinf she was freezing and didbt want to be there. There was no power in the place. It was freezing in there and she said it just went out. So we waited until 445 (wedding started at 6) it was so cold in there we went to the desk and asked if they knew when it might be on. The rude lady said how am I supposed to know go wait in your car I'm not to socialize with you. Very very rude. We were getting worried about time and our wedding. We went back in and she was even more rude than before. I then asked her if we cant have our hotel room and it wasn't our fault we should get our money back. She said it was through booking.com so we had to deal with them. Meanwhile we are freezing in our car. We got a hold of booking.com and told them our problem and they said of course they would get our money back since we were not allowed to have our hotel room we already paid for. She said she would email me the details and when I could expect my refund. Then they emailed me saying the hotel won't give back refund. They refuse to return my calls and emails. We had to drive around and find another hotel in which we were so late and missed the wedding. We have never been so humiliated. We deserve to get our refund especially when it's the hotel that could not service a room in which we paid for. Please help. I'm a single mom and having to pay for two hotels for one night and to have missed my family members wedding is terrible. I would be so grateful if you could look into this for me. January 6th until January 8th. Payed 354.30$ for the room, 200 $ deposit and 20 $ reservation fee. That's 574.30$ total. The bedding was dirty, blood and urine stains on the sheets.the room smelled moldy dank. Went to go take a swim in the pool before I had to check out and there was beer cans, and garbage littered everywhere and I mean everywheres. There was a dirty poopy diaper smeared on the deck. The water in both the pool and the hottub looked green and thick..the water wasrnt even high enough to run through the filters. It was stagnant. That is so unsanitary. Hockey teams were here all weekend running up and down the halls u til 430 in the morning. There was supposed to be a sauna as advertised but there was no sauna...everything I looked forward to with staying in a hotel was non existent..absolute disgusting disappointment...this hotel can't be up to standards.
