Beginning of Dec 2022 I dropped off my downfall duvet to be dry cleaned. When I picked it up it was covered in yellow stains and musty smell. I brought it back and was told no charge to fit it. Dec 21 I drooled it off for the second time. I have tried several times to speak with the manager at this dry cleaners. I am told each time she is not in. Today I asked for the head office number . I as given a babe and number and was told to leave a message. I have left a message . Meanwhile my once beautiful duvet is ruined .Business response

My name is ***** ********* and I am writing in response to your letter we received VIA complaint.

I am the worker that processed the comforter when arriving at our main processing facility, from one of our drop off depot locations.
On inspection there were yellow stains on comforter when received. I knew just dry cleaning would not adequately remove stains .
I then did the dry cleaning process anyway then sent back to drop off location for customer to pick up when ready.
As I predicted the customer was not happy with the result and wanted it redone.
Knowing that another dry cleaning process would not change the outcome ,when it came back the second time we had chosen to launder the comforter.
Water is more effective to remove stains than a dry cleaning solvent in some cases as this one. It was a better result but customer was still not satisfied.
We make our best attempts to remove stains on all items.
Many people sending to a professional cleaner believe their items will be like new again and that is just not the case in some unfortunate cases .
All dry cleaning and laundry facilities can not guarantee fabrics from around the world will have the outcome the customer will agree on.
